GLS MANAGEMENT CONSULTANCY & TRAINING with office address at Suite 19 Ground Floor, The Midland Plaza M. Adriatico Street, Ermita Manila was founded on a vision by GIL L. SAMANIEGO, a former hotelier, to promote the hospitality industry by providing highly qualified workers equipped with adequate skills and imbued with the right values for various jobs availing in the industry.
It was formally established in February, 1995 after it obtained its permits and thus operates legitimately under the laws of the Philippines.
Organized as a training center for applicants for various positions in hotels, ocean going vessels and restaurants, it has, since its establishment turned out graduates who have successfully joined the industry and has thus earned a respectable reputation among hotels and other establishments of equally good repute.
The underlying philosophy for its continued success and sustained reputation, is its consummate dedication to its goal of being an able and reliable partner in the industry. Graduates and employers alike have continuously certified to its quality instruction and on the job training in five (5) star hotels, backed up by close and efficient supervision by able personnel in conjunction with host hotel’s own supervisors.
Every trainor, instructor, supervisor and office staff is oriented first and foremost on the center’s lofty goals and must maintain full dedication to accomplish these goals. This sustained dedication has resulted in the tall credibility it now enjoys among the best circles in the industry.
The center’s operation in recent years has expanded its objective. From its original task of training candidates in the multifarious lines in the hotel and restaurant operations, it has developed a mechanism by which assistance is given to graduates desirous of applying for positions in service operations, either landbased or seabased. So far, numerous graduates-trainees have availed of jobs thru the center’s recommendations, the employers being aware of its standards of training and instruction.
The center has thus proven itself. But it will continue to pursue that vision with full dedication and determination.
